can i control my pc using the remote control of my TV tuner card?

i am the administrator,i have a "oddyssy" tv tuner card with IF remote control.

Generally speaking, a Pc Remote is capable of started a few programs if you program shortcuts to the buttons, and can control certain media programs to a limited degree. You can also use certain remote models as a Wireless Mouse, but the controls are often sluggish and inefficient.
