Can anyone recommend a quality Universal Remote control ?
I have been doing some research and have pretty much settled on something by Logitech. Beyond that, I have discovered that the two models that fall within my price range are the Harmony 520 and 550. Can anyone tell me which of these is the better choice ?
I have an older Jvc Tv, a newer Sony home theatre system, a dual Yamaha tape deck, a Sony boom box, a Magnavox Dvd/VCR player, and a Rogers digital cable box. I don't have a cd player yet but that will coming soon, I hope. The Sony theatre system came with a pretty decent Universal Remote but the problem is that it doesn't have designated buttons for the designated buttons on the cable remote (colour-coated menu buttons).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you can suggest something cheaper but just as reliable, I would be even more appreciative.

A lot of my clients have been asking me to replace the Harmony remotes they bought on their own (before they knew about me or my services) "with something that works better."
I recommend the Universal Remote Control (that's the actual brand name) MX-350 (or higher). They don't require a computer to program in most cases (unlike the Harmony in every case), they're built better and are more flexible in the way they can be programmed.
No, they DON'T have Harmony's sort of cool "Help" button, but they have custom macro capabilities that outshine the Harmony.
