Why won't my mini Universal Remote control work on my TV?
I just got it today from a magazine sale fundraiser and I tried the code for the TV when I got home but it didn't work. I've also tried the auto code searching but it takes forever to get it. Is there any other way to get the code or the auto code searching is the only way to get it. If so, how long would it be.
I forgot to mention this. I can only turn off the TV which I found out myself when they weren't even on the instructions.
There might be compatibility issues depending on the age of the remote and tv. Also try different codes if you can because sometimes not all codes are listed for the right manufacturer. You might also want to try different batteries because if the batteries came with the remote they might be old and bad even though you do not know it.
