Does someone make a Remote Control to rf control multiple directv receivers?
I have a problem. In our sports bar we just installed 12 new h21 directv receivers. The problem is we have to use one remote for each receiver. There has to be an easier way. What I would like to do is have one unit that will address each box. I've looked around and was looking at the harmony 890 remote but I'm not sure this will do it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I know there must be an answer somewhere out there. Thanks in advance.
The 890 should let you control 8 devices, since there are 8 programmable buttons around the outside. I control a CD player with a 5 disk platter and a juke box type CD player with a couple hundred CDs. I just call them CD1 and CD2 and you could do the same sort of thing for up to 8 devices. I don't know what you would do with 12 however.
