How do I set up my TV with my RC23 remote (Directv?
I recently got TiVo, but I didn't get the peanut-shaped remote, I got the white RC23 remote. And I've tried to set it up where the remote will control my volume and TV power, etc., but I'm not sure if the codes they have are just for the peanut remote. So basically what i'm asking for is how to set up my TV controls with the RC23 remote.

You need to find the model number of the Receiver your trying to program the remote to. Then call directv they we will walk you through it. There are way too many steps to write out and I need to ask some questions that require quick answers. 1-800-DIRECTV
